Information for visitors
The Beer Festival has been held regularly in the historical centre of Nový Jičín since 2013. During this time, it has gained a reputation as a popular and sought-after festival of microbreweries from our region and abroad. This year it will be attended by 30 minibreweries, where experienced brewers will prepare more than 100 types of delicious beer and beer specialities. The programme will include musical performances of various genres and a rich accompanying programme for all ages. The festival is also eco-friendly - instead of the traditional ones, eco-friendly returnable cups will be in use. The entrance is free of charge. The event will take place in any weather, with large tents provided in case of inclement weather.
The beer festival is hosted by Petra Dorazilová and Honza Václavik.

The event takes place in all weather conditions, large tents and plenty of seating are provided.
On the day of the Beer Festival the Visitor’s centre will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (TIC, exhibition).

TRAFFIC INFORMATION AND PARKING
BUS:
Bus stop Nový Jičín, bus station. The square is 200 metres away. You can find the connection using the IDOS timetables.
Extraordinary bus services will depart on Saturday 22 June 2024. Bus services are provided by ODIS s.r.o.
Extraordinary public transport bus services:
- Line 602 in the direction of Hřbitovní - departure from the bus station at 23:15.
- line 603 in the direction of Loučka - departure from the bus station at 22:00 and 23:45.
- line 604 in the direction of Kojetín - departure from the bus station at 22:30.
Extraordinary connections of suburban bus connections:
- line 621 in the direction of Libhošt', Příbor-Prchalov, Skotnice, Příbor - departure from the bus station at 23:45.
- line 665 in the direction Nový Jičín-Žilina, Životice u Nový Jičína, Mořkov - departure from the bus station at 23:45.
- line 690 in the direction of Rybí, Štramberk, Závišice, Kopřivnice - departure from the bus station at 23:45.

TRAIN
Train stop Nový Jičín - město. Cross the road towards the bus station and continue to the square. Use the IDOS timetables to find the connection.
PARKING:
On the event day there will be free parking on ul. Tyršova, Gen. Hlaďo, Divadelní and the main car park Na Valech (by the market).

HYGIENE
WC
There will be plenty of regularly cleaned toilets available throughout the event. Public "ceramic" toilets can be found on Úzká Street (between Žerotínský zámek and Bikemania Shop), or you can use the mobile toilet and WC for the disabled in Na Valech Street (parking lot at the market).
HANDWASH STATIONS
There will be handwash stations with utility water available in the square for washing beer glasses, which you can buy in the "Výkupna" tent and at the TIC reception.
RUBBISH BINS AND CONTAINERS
Although we are trying to reduce waste to a minimum through beer glass and returnable cups, we are not getting rid of it completely. Therefore, there will be enough waste bins on the grounds as well as containers for sorted waste. We kindly ask visitors to take care of their own cleanliness and to help with reducing the ecological footprint of the festival.

TOURIST INFORMATION AND ACCOMMODATION
During the event, you can also visit the expositions in the Nový Jičín Visitor Centre - City of Hats or in the Nový Jičín Museum.

ORGANIZING SERVICE
SECURITY SERVICE
Security in the backstage, VIP and ticket office areas is provided by the security service, while the event area is patrolled by the municipal police - both forces try to ensure the smooth running of the event and prevent unnecessary complications. We also ask visitors to be helpful and considerate towards other participants.
FIRST AID
Medical assistance of the Czech Red Cross is provided at the festival. In case of emergency, you can also contact members of the organizing service - we are the ones with the green t-shirts :-)
